2.) The number one person I admire most is Serena Williams, because of her dedication and time she puts into tennis ever since she was 3 years old. My second person I admire is Tyra Banks, her ability to work with anyone (anything) just to get to the top, her undefined beauty, and her will power makes her a strong empowered woman. Last but not least, Tyler Perry, a black actor/actress, writer, producer, director, ect. who came a long ways from making plays in urban areas to making film/movies in Hollywood... and that's what I love about these people, there dedication, hard work, and no matter what other people said or thought about what they did, failure did not get in the way. That's how i wont to succeed by working hard,putting in my time to things that matter most, and concentrating on what is important rather than listening to ignorance.
ReplyDelete#1) For me, a successful person is one who has all that they wanted to achieve, or at least at a content milestone in life from which they can look back and feel as though they have done everything possible to be the best they can be. A successful person is not one who has money, fame, or status that makes people jealous. A successful person is one who can make people feel inspired to better their lives. A successful person is one who is selfless to the point where they can be help people even though it might not be beneficial for themselves. for me, a person who has success has love, selflessness, compassion, and above all, a zest for life. They need to have the ability to be down to earth, and understand that nothing can be taken for granted. I believe actions are what define the person, and all these traits lead to actions such as help others, be kind to others, and inspire people to have and make a better life for themselves.

I agree with you, especially when you said "Success in not money, fame, or status... it's what you do behind the curtains." I believe a lot of people nowadays set their goals just to impress people, when they should only worry about themselves.

ReplyDeleteA successful person must dream. If he does not dream, he will have no goals to reach. A person without goals walks around blindly and will get no where in life.
A successful person must also never give up, under no circumstances. No matter how many times he is rejected or how many people taunt him for his dream, he must never abandon his dream.
Lastly, a successful person must be able to accept help from others. Other people allow for the flow of more ideas or simply the support to carry on.
2. The first person I absolutely admire is Rihanna because she is a very hard working successful woman in the music industry. It was hard getting a start in music for her because she was about 16 or 17 when she moved to the US in 2005. Throughout her career she has sold millions of albums around the world. To me, she's a better influence than most of the typical Hollywood stars. Rihanna has never failed to give up her dreams which make her successful. That is why I admire her so much. (SORRY GUYS... I HAD TO) :)
ReplyDeleteAnother person I admire is someone I know on a personal level. She has had the greatest impact on my life. She followed her dreams by becoming an amazing, dedicated dancer. She has taught me life lessons through dance and given me advice on everything. She just received an offer to dance at the Joffrey Ballet in New York which was something she's always wanted to do. She is my role model and my inspiration. She is the best person I could ever look up to because I know she'll never give up on her dreams and she'll always be successful despite all the negativity she's faced.
The last person I admire is Kaelynn Harris from 8Flavahz dance crew. She's 18 and she was on America's Best Dance Crew. She had also appeared in music videos for people such as Ciara and Mindless Behavior. She's danced for WillDaBeast Adams, one of the best choreographers in the country (in my opinion). Kaelynn grew up teaching herself how to dance because she couldn't afford to take dance classes. She has come such a long way and she is such an inspiration. She's already pretty successful because she follow her dreams to do what she loves.

ReplyDeleteThe three people I admire are Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James because no matter where they came from they tried there hardest to become successful like they are. They got put down in life before but that didn't stop them from making there dream come true. That's what I like about them no matter what you tell them they do what they do to make there self successful and not worried about the criticism people told them. The way they became successful is not to let people put them down and tried there best to achieve there goal. What I can do is to achieve successful like them is try my best and get good at the sport and to become perfect Is practice what I would do and don't let anybody put me down.
I like how you admire Kobe bryant because I due as well he is a very hard worker and he is good at what he does, even thought he went through alot to get where he is he never gave up, good job.

ReplyDeleteBeing a successful person means that although life always throws curve balls at you when trying to reach a goal you have set for yourself, you still keep going and keep and open mind to diffrent ideas. To be successful you should have determiation, patcience,optimism,ambition and motivation. To reach individual success you can not give up. No matter what happens you always have to keep pushing and even if you dont get the results you wanted, you will always know you gave it your best. Another thing you have to always do is think positive. There are going to be a lot of people bringing negativity while you're working on your goals but you have to learn to let that go and move foward. You will aslo have to find motiviation in any way possible. You will have those days where you want to give up but with motivation you'll always have a reason to try harder.

ReplyDeleteWhat I think it means to be Successful person is someone who is willing to do something they love and does not care what a person thinks, or they situation they might be leaving in.Where your in a situation where you think you can get anywhere because somebody told you this, or because of that.And that's where loyalty comes in.
Some trait of that would be Motivation,simply because you always have to be motivated with your self and or whatever you situation may be.Personality, it's always good to have a good personality even when something does not simply turn out right. Patience, always good to wait and understand the news, because you never know something good could be coming on the way. So don't mess it up.Communication skills, always good to have great skills when your communicating with someone always want to show a good side of you even thorough despair.

First I would like to say my MOMMY First Lieutenant Donna Jones!! I would say that I have seen a lot in what my mom has dont living with her my whole life.She graduated from high school And joined the army and stayed for 20 years . All she had was a diploma from high school. Now she has finished school. Couldn't even find a job when we moved down here to Texas etc etc. you know what I mean Ms.G
My Aunt and my uncle. - told them they would not be anything because they cared about their relationship growing up. Went to Hollywood to apply for jobs.Guess who gets free premiere tickets almost every week. Me! They are executive directives for movies and they were on Spider-Man 4 and oblivion iron man 3.
Last - I would have to say Shatia Michelle Jones. Omg that girl is crazy. Anyways, when my mom was stationed in North Carolina I had failed the 3rd grade and ever since then when I take a test quiz etc , could be anything I tend to have these really bad test anxieties, and everything it gets to me, I just always feel like a failure. But I know I can do it and I try to motivate my self.But it just falls, took the AP test and talk to teachers they say I could get in but they know and I know that I can get in AP with the grades that I have right now. But then again that's when a successful person comes in. I say I can't do it now but I just may never know what life has for me later.I remember a student today in class told me that they would be as good as me because they have a 3.8 and I have a 2.9. But I simply told that person I might have poor grades now. But could be doing just as good as you and be more succesful than you in the future. (Well I didt say that,but I wouldn't too to their face so bad) but I just kept quiet ..

I think patience is probably one of the more important traits because nothing comes all at once. You need patience to wait for things and be greedy. Soon with that, one could become successful.

ReplyDeleteTo be a successful person in life you will need to be smart,brave,forgiving,patient and loving. To be successful you need to be a smart person in life, because everyday you will need to pass certain opsticles in your life wich you will need school studies on (math,reading,social studies,etc) and maybe you dont have to be as smart as Benjamin Franklin or Barack obama but you will need study skills everyday in life.If youre not brave in life you will never be successful you will get pushed around and be bullied or see some one being bullied. Maybe some one takes youre idea at work but you dont say anything and that person gets a promotion, why should he diserve that when it was youre idea? But if you were brave enough to say something you could have been the one to get a promotion and be successful.To be successful in life you will also need to be forgiving because as usall their is always going to be a "Hater" who will want you to fail in life, and it maybe a friend who you will need yo forgive later on in life. but if you dont forgive you will never forget and that will mean that you will want revenge and maybe get backfired and loose everything in life. Being patient in life will usually bring you good things in life, maybe you apply for five diffrent collages and you get a couple of the letters back and get accepted but theirs one that has not yet arrived but yet you still go a head and send back a letter to a different collage saying that you will go to that collage, then two weeks later you get a better offer to another collage but now its to late. A big part of being successful in life is to love, if you dont learn to love you will never get anything in life as you want. If you dont show people you love them as a friend or mom you will never get things back in return.Treat people the way you want to be treated with love , If you never love then that as a person means that you were never loved as a baby and you dont want your freinds or boss thinking that you were never loved or cared about then you might never get a promotion because he might think youre a bad person in life. Simple as that.
