(9th) Weekend Discussion #1

Your question for the week has to do with the topic of JUDGEMENT:

"Never look down on anybody unless you're helping them up."
-- Jesse Jackson

We'll keep it easy this week -- do you agree with this quote, and why? Should we look at everyone through the same lens, including ourselves, or are there people who are "better" than us?

Remember to do the following:
  • Use a pseudonym (pen name) and not your real name when posting,
  • Be detailed in your responses by using experience or evidence as support,
  • You may respond to the question or someone else's posted answer, and
  • Be polite and positive at all times!

  1. Honestly, I do believe that we should always look at everyone through the same lens. I do not believe that anyone is better than us because a famous document known to man states "All men are created equal." So yes, I do agree with this quote.

  3. OK, i am getting so freaking tired of having to rewrite this. someone in my lovely family decided saying fudge was a sub. for a bad word. I am not trying to sneak the bad word in, i just say fudge. ask anyone but then again you don't know who am i so you wouldn't know who to ask in our class(evil laugh).
anyway, for the umpteenth time here is my response. yes, i agree with this quote. who are you to judge someone? is your life perfect, have you made no mistakes? exactly, you have. you should help your fellow people. we are the same are we not? if you want to help, don't talk poorly of them, think about who are you helping? or as Cee Lo Green would say,
"Come on now, who do you
Who do you, who do you, who do you think you are?
Ha ha ha, bless your soul." (Green,Cee Lo.)
