(10th) Weekend Discussion #2

Your question for the week has to do with the topic of REDEMPTION:

“People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.”
Audrey Hepburn

Why should we "never throw out anyone" in life? What should we do to aid those who need redemption? Are we merely stepping stones for others, or do we have a choice to act in another's life?

Remember to do the following:

  • Use a pseudonym (pen name) and not your real name when posting,
  • Be detailed in your responses by using experience or evidence as support,
  • You may respond to the question or someone else's posted answer, and
  • Be polite and positive at all times!

  1. Life has a lot of pain in it, weather you are a happy or depressed person. For some people, it takes something to revive the problem. That's why people have to have support and know they have it. Eventually, this will help mend and mix someone. :)

  2. You shouldn't through out anyone in life because everyone is valuable and is born with a purpose, in my opinion. When someone needs help or support for there redemption you should ask them to see what you could do to help, then you forgive and try to empower them by assisting that person. I also believe we do "have a choice to act in anothers life" because it's your "choice" if you want to help another person or just leave them on the side to suffer.

  4. People have a lot to offer and while we make mistakes we are able to be redeemed and changed for the better. Also by shutting people out of your life you can hurt the person and shutting them out could have effects on their life later
