"Research is what I'm doing when
I don't know
what I'm doing."
- Wernher Von
Braun (1912-1977)
CONSIDER: What is our core reason for research in any subject? Does research require any foreknowledge, or is it better to go into a project without knowing anything about the topic? Do you believe that Von Braun was wise to believe in this or not, and why?

Hello123:
ReplyDeleteWe have to research in our lives, whether to complete a project or just wanting to know more about a subject. When you do research, it is better to have a little knowledge of the subject before researching it. This is because foreknowledge can help you understand the topic better and make connections from what you know to what you learned. I agree with Wernher Von Braun's quote because that is the purpose of research: to find out more about how things work and what we are doing.

ReplyDeleteResearch is looking up information when I don't know or understand what I supposed to be doing. Research is getting detailed information about something when it doesn't seem like I'm actually researching anything.

ReplyDeleteWhen you research something you look something up or try something to find results so you can have better knowledge on something you don't know much about. If you are to enter a project though, it is never wise to go through it blindly without planning the steps or knowing how or why the outcomes of the project were to be.
