no matter what you should always tell the truth
some times people can lie by telling the truth idk if that make ssense to you but people can get around the truth by telling you facts. so just man up and tell the truth

  2. I think truth is more important. I agree with Brandon because he is right. People should always tell the truth. We all know there are times where the truth should be kept quiet, but the majority of the time, you should tell the truth. Truth is just as powerful, if not more so, as fact. Just like logical fact can change people's life and how they think, truth can as well. People tend to use fact to escape the truth of things. People can try to use things like science or something to prove something wrong or right, but people have to realize that not all things are capable of being proven right or wrong. It's like moral truth. Things like assaulting someone or harassing someone should be evil and that's the truth, but science can't prove that it is evil. There are truths out there everyday that can't be proven by fact and with this I believe that truth is more powerful than logical fact.

  3. I agree with koolaidkid319 because people will try to escape the truth, and try to run away from it. Facts are the little pieces of reality that can show the wrong thing, but the truth is the whole, it will show you everything. The truth is like the light at the end of the tunnel. It will have a better feeling to tell the truth, than just clouding your head with worthless facts.

  4. I believe that facts are more important than the truth. The reason I think that is because facts are things that add up to make the truth so without facts there couldnt be a truth because you wouldnt have anything to back up the truth.Im not saying that the truth is not important because the tuth is very important, I just believe that facts are little bit more important but they are definitely both very important.

  5. Both @Adidas and @koolaidkid319 have a point, but I lean more towards @Adidas statement because he/she is correct. You would not have the truth without facts. Facts are what create the truth. In a court setting, the defendant can not be proved guilty or innocent without the lawyers stating the facts that lead up to the truth (whether the defendant committed the crime or not).

  7. I agree with Adidas that many facts add up to the truth and that facts back up the truth. Just like when Mrs. Goldblatt tells us to use facts or evidence in class to back up answers in the stories we read.

I agree, I think the truth is more important than facts ,because the truth is what actually happened.I would rather someone tell me the truth about a story rather than the facts they have learned.Like for example if someone asked me did I do my homework, the facts would be yes I did my homework, but the truth could be I did my homework but I didn't complete it..there's a big difference in the two answers.

I think that this quote means, don't try to cover up the truth with other things, because it soon won't even make sense and the person will know you're lying without a doubt. It can also mean that you can't cover the lie with good facts and pros, you still lied and that destroys your good reputation, plus it takes away from the good things you've done. Lying is a bad thing and can get you in a world of trouble. Ask me, I'm a living witness that lying does not have a good outcome.

I think that he thinks that you can never finish a project, but only add to it and make it better, and i agree.

I agree with Adidas as well but it depends on the situation. I think the truth is more important. In a real life situation, some people don't care about facts, they just want the truth. In other situations, facts can be used to solve the truth like in an investigation.

  12. actually true and fact are the same thing because you wouldn't have a fact if it wasn't for the truth (facts come from the truth).

  13. the truth is more important then the FACTS BECAUSE THE FACTS IS SOMETHING YOU CAN GET FROM A TEXTBOOK OR THE COMPUTER. THE FACTS ARE JUST FACTS, NOTHING ELSE TO IT REALLY. THE TRUTH CAN HAVE OPINIONS AND FACTS AND EMOTIONS AND STILL BE THE TRUTH AND MAKE SENSE. I WOULD PREFER THE THE TRUTH OVER THE FACTS ANY DAY.

I would have to agree with this because a mans art is never really finished you can always at any time of your life go back and change something. In my experience When am drawing something I always will find small things that I don't like for some reason and it's always the same with everything and I would have to agree with "guess who this is" In this case the art work would have to be abandoned
